The Trip to Washington!!!

Yesterday was 12/10/05, it was a Saterday and I went on a very short car trip up to Washington. Our destination was a little north of Tacoma, and the crew was my girl friends family. We took the Crystler instead of the Darango, this turned out to be a pain. The back seat just had enough room for Me and Kate as well as Kate's little brother Spencer. Of course Karry and Randy were fine in the front other than their constantly having to hear the happenings of the back seat. On the way there Spencer sat on the left, Kate in the middle, and I sat to the right. This became an irritation to my poor sweet Kate. She ended up with two boys that were trying to snuggel her the whole way up. The trip started with a large breakfast at Sharies in Newburg. We all hit the road with full stomachs. As we passed threw Portland we picked out the common sights, and enjoyed the fimiliar view. The conversation was light and full of memories. We soon passed into Washington and the convorsation split in to many mini convos. The swaping of stories and ideas, the learning of new consepts and truths all occured over the next hundred miles or so. A small traffic jam was what we ran into around the final destination which caused us to take about an hour to travel the next 5 miles. We stopped in a rest area for a break and to relieve our poor bodies. Then we got off the freeway another mile or so down the large black paving. The visitaion was well meet. The group was split between conversation and watching the division II Championships. There was also VERY cute kittens and the 4A football championships from Oregon. Linclon v. Jesuit. The ride home was quiker and fun. The music was enjoyable and so was the conversation. There was a stop for the consumption of food at a small pizza bar where we consumed a large pizza covered in meat and a calzone containing mostley garlic. The next few miles were not as entertaining as the garlic was getting to the traveling group. We soon got to P-town though were the car moved to the international raceway to see the winter wonderland. This is a compotaion of lights and pictures which was an enjoyable time as well as a beautiful sight. Moving from there and listening to some immaculate christmas music. This set a wonderful tone. The duration of the ride back to the humble little town of Carlton was pleasurable and sweet trip. Rolling in to the Clawson residence ended the trip and I was taken home after talking some to Katelyn and her father. Dewey cannot wait to take another family trip with the Clawson family and really misses his girl friend. I loved the trip and am thrilled that the Clawson family can treat me like a son.

a dissertation on family: do not forget that you are now only the son of russel and teresa and God. and that God may will you be the son of another couple you know not, only a day will tell. do not forget the value of friendship, casually converting it to family is a travesty (that had to be the best noble word yet) and misuderstanding.

i thought about this a lot over christmas because dani was always around and it threw me. and another thing i was trying to say, do not forget that God probably has wanted you with kate for now and maybe in the future, and maybe not. and if you are not sure this is the one that will be the future, would you tell the one that is the future you love her like you tell kate? having my own girlfriend, and more then a high school girlfriend makes us think of this. we should talk more, i think
